The VR pioneer has donated two Oculus Rift-baptized HMD (Head-mounted Display) OLED displays with a resolution of 1,080 x 1,200 pixels, which represent a wide 110-degree field of view and are viewed through two hybrid Fresnel lenses. The distance between the two lenses to each other can be adjusted via a rotary knob on the underside of the VR glasses to the interpupillary distance between 58 and 72 mm. The distance between the lenses and the eyes themselves (diopter adjustment) can be adjusted via interchangeable connection frames with facial upholstery called "facial interfaces".Alternative facial interface with padding for more comfortThe Standard Face Facial Interface offered here comes from the third-party VR Cover , who have reconstructed and skilfully improved Oculus VR's original Facial Interfaces to make it more comfortable to use with different foam inserts or a nose pocket to allow. If you find the original foam padding too uncomfortable or you want to minimize marks on the face padding supplied with the device ("Oculus Face"), you can find a remedy here. The set includes an alternative plastic "facial interface" connector to which foam inserts can be attached. There are two of them, six millimeters thick, which are made of cold foam and covered with PU synthetic leather. The thin inserts bring the user closer to the VR events and thus increase the field of vision. Finally, a "VR cover" fabric cover for the thin foam insert is included.
