Fenicia is a gender neutral amber spicy fragrance launched in 2015 by luxury fragrance house The Merchant of Venice. The fragrance opens with notes of Lemon and Elemi before going into a spicy heart of Myrhh, Nutmeg, Clove, Olibanum and Cinnamon, which are joined in the heart of the fragrance by a note of Rose. The base notes consist of Saffron, Citruses, Benzoin, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean and Patchouli. The notes combine together to create a unique fragrance. The Elemi and Lemon seem like a partnership made in heaven, and they are joined by the rose, which smells delightful, before the spices arrive to the party, adding some mystery along the way. The fragrance is long lasting, deep, powerful and incredibly versatile.

Fenicia is a modern fragrance confined in an elegant flacon decorated in a style that recalls one of the most traditional architectonical styles in Venice. The bottle, made in glass, is coloured in typical venetian blue and gold colours and reinterpretes the most classic shape of Murano glass design. It shows a characteristic pattern inspired in the palm leaves that are usually used in religious ceremonies and architectural designs. The leaves are designed upside down creating a game of colours in which the flacon turns from a predominant gold base to a mostly intense dark blue top. It is further embellished with a golden cup that shows the wind rose and a golden metal label hanging from the neck. Fenicia is a misterious fragrance. The alluring combination of the fresh opening notes of lemon from Calabria with the warm, spicy character of nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon, are embellished and softened by a touch of rose.
