Create a unique aesthetic for your gaming PC with the Streacom VU1 Dynamic Analogue Dial. Keep track of your CPU’s temperature, the clock speed of your GPU, or view an upbeat message whenever you look at your PC, you can do all this and more with a VU1 Dial. These displays utilise an open-source platform, which allows developers to create plug-ins for integration with almost any application. As such, there are a wide range of options available for customising the display to create a unique aesthetic. A VU1 Dial is easy to display within your case as they feature multiple installation options, such as an included stand or an M3 mounting point. Utilising USB Type-C cables, you can daisy chain multiple Streacom VU1 Dials together, to keep track of all aspects of your computer's performance. To enjoy the full functionality of a VU1 Dial, you will require an existing VU1 Hub (sold separately). The VU1 uses an E-Ink display coupled with a mechanical needle to create a unique way to display your system information. E-Ink displays are most often used in e-readers, as they offer exceptional contrast between any text or graphic against the background, giving an almost paper-like experience. What’s more, with its open-source software, the VU1 can be used to display anything from your CPU temperature to some text of your choice. In addition to this, the VU1 also offers two more vectors to convey information. The first of which is the needle, facilitating an appealing physicality to the VU1 thanks to its mechanical motion. Alongside this, these dials are equipped with RGB lighting, which is necessary to read the screen as E-Ink displays do not emit light. The colour of the RGB can also be used for conveying system information, such as moving from green to red as a component gets hotter.
