As a result, you can enter every meeting, video chat, and stream with crystal clear and superior audio quality. This microphone utilises a cardioid pick-up pattern, meaning it is unidirectional with a bias towards the front of the device. Voice isolation increases, whilst room reverberation is reduced. Multi Mode To enhance your audio further, the Shure MV5C Home Office Microphone is equipped with different modes that you can easily toggle between. Firstly, there is a Speech Enhancement Mode that automatically equalises your audio output, boosting the vocal frequencies. This facilitates clear and consistent speech, perfect for when you’re trying to present or stream. The button for this feature is found on the back of the microphone, above where it says “mode”. A dedicated LED on the front will illuminate when this mode is engaged. Next, the Shure MV5C has a dedicated playback mode. This microphone can be used with or without headphones, and you have the option to hear an immediate playback when using the additional device. An ideal feature for video conferencing and recording. This can be enabled by pressing and holding the Mode button when connecting the device to your gaming PC. Plug in your headphones afterwards, and you will be able to hear playback and adjust the volume using the scroll wheel on the back. Once again, to indicate this mode is active, the dedicated LED will turn green. If you have your headphones connected to the microphone without this feature turned on, the LED will be amber. Versatile The Shure MV5C Home Office Microphone is stylish with its spherical head and modern-style desktop stand. This stand is adjustable, allowing you to position the microphone at a suitable angle for your set-up. Simply place the quarter-inch thread in the track and screw on the head when optimally placed.
