The flagship Shimano All Mountain SH-AM901 is designed for downhill and Enduro riding, returning with a few key improvements the AM901 SPD should be cons of choice for any serious rider or racer. The revised upper features an armoured lace shield and asymmetrical padded ankle collar with sidewall sole, creating a shoe with great protection, while absorbing less water and offering quicker drying times. Additional features include the Speed Lacing System for improved adjustability in all weather conditions, as well as a molded toe cover for further protection. The ultra-grippy, high traction rubber outsole makes walking easier and is designed to offer an optimal interface with the pedals. A channel on the sole behind the cleat creates a stable pedal connection when clipped out.
