Pairing premium materials and a high-performance design, your water-cooling system can keep up with anything your gaming throws its way. Not only does this ensure outstanding performance, but also enhances the longevity of this waterblock and backplate bundle. The coldplate is comprised of 100% pure copper, chosen for its excellent conductive properties and thermal capacity. This then has a nickel-plated finish to create a sleek aesthetic and backdrop for the DRGB lighting. Liquid coolant is fed through high-quality cast acrylic, the perfect showcase for custom coloured coolant, whilst the system is kept water-tight with VITON O-rings. A sign of their standard, these are the favoured O-rings for automotive and aerospace industries. Finally, the backplate is chrome-plated aluminium, creating a stylish yet durable structure. High-Performance Design In addition to premium materials, the Phanteks Glacier G3090Ti Gigabyte has been expertly crafted with a high-performance design. The copper coldplate fully covers the waterblock, ensuring contact with the entire PCB. As such, it can draw heat away from all the critical areas on your graphics card. Heat transfer is increased thanks to the large cooling fin area, providing more conductive surface to work with. Additionally, the backplate is equipped with thermal pads that contact vital PCB components, such as the RAM and VRM, to further boost the heat transfer. To improve the flow of your entire water-cooling system, the Phanteks Glacier G3090Ti Gigabyte utilises a high flow design through the acrylic casing. This reduces resistance, allowing the liquid coolant to flow freely and more effectively draw heat away from your graphics card. Included with this bundle is a syringe of Phanteks’ PH-NDC thermal compound, to ensure contact between the waterblock and graphics card is optimised.
